Abstract

241,103. Taylor, C. J. G. March 28, 1925. Boxes made from special blanks.-The flaps H, K of a cardboard blank shaped as shown in Fig. 1 are folded over flat against the bottom panel J and, after the panel C has been folded flat against the flaps H, K, the parts A, B, C, D are formed into a flattened tube secured by a glued flap E. To erect the box, the tube is opened out into rectangular form, and the bottom J and rear wall L are pushed down into it as shown in Fig. 3; the flaps H, K are then turned up to lie against the end walls B, D, and the flaps F, G are turned over to form a seat for the lid M, which has a tuck-in flap N.
