503,904. Envelopes. RODIGER, W. Oct. 28, 1938, No. 31240. Convention date, Oct. 28, 1937. [Class 146 (ii)] An envelope .for postal transmission at the cheap rate has its closure flap 2 retained in the closed position by means of a non- circular member 3 which is placed over a hole 6 in the flap and partially overlies the latter, and is gummed to the envelope back 1 by means of a gummed section 5, the member 3 originally forming part of the flap which was cut to facilitate separation of the member therefrom to leave the hole 6.
