[Class 7 (iii).] The inlet valve to the float chamber 12 is a needle valve 30 mounted with some play in the bore 33 of a member 32 screwed into the cover 11 of the float chamber ; the valve rests on a coaxial piston 35 guided in the bore 33 and secured to a rod 36 actuated directly by a finger 29 carried by the float 25. Conduits 34 connect the bore 33 with the interior of the float chamber.
