S., 12, New Court, Carey Street, (Representatives of WADE, H.), and SPICERS, Ltd., 19, New Bridge Street, all in London. April 24, 1931, No. 12169. Addition to 321,222, [Class 140, Waterproof &c. fabrics]. [Class 140.] The apparatus described in the parent Specification is modified so that the coated film, after traversing the orifice of the trough 1, is carried immediately upwards by a guide roller 5 of small diameter for a short distance and finally along a long horizontal path 7 with the coated surface uppermost. The coated film is then dried by passage over festooning rollers in a drying chamber. The apparatus is suitable for coating a cellulose acetate film with collodion in making the multicolour screen described in Specification 322,432, [Class 98 (ii), Photographic processes &c.].
