Abstract

377,231. Sash cord attachments pocket pieces. PRICE, W. F., 18, Station Road, Penarth, Glamorgan. April 22, 1931, No. 11939. [Class 20 (iii).] To enable cords of window sashes to be renewed without removing sash or beads the pocket piece 9 is removable without disturbing a bead and the cord is retained by a knot in a recess 8 in one face of the stile communicating with the cord groove. The recess has a coverplate screwed thereon and the pocket piece is preferably chamfered at the edges. Specifications 4193/06, [Class 20, Buildings &c.], and 199,277, [Class 20 (iii), Doors &c.], are referred to.
