Abstract

377,001. Golf bags. NAHON, J., 16, Paseo del Prado, Madrid. Sept. 4, 1931, No. 24897. Addition to 376,766. [Class 132 (ii).] The golf bag forming the subject-matter of the parent Specification is provided with a fastener 20, Fig. 3, forming part of and disposed intermediate the ends of the strip 4 for securing the hood 1 round the neck of the bag, the fastener allowing the hood to be attached to the bag without the removal of the usual carrying sling 30. When the hood is not in use it is stored within a pocket formed in one side of the bag but remains in attachment with the bag by means of a strap or chain 2. The bag is stiffened at the mouth and base by metallic collars 8, 15, that at the base having attached thereto by screws 17 a crepe rubber pad 18. The interior of the bag is divided into a number of longitudinal compartments by partitions that are carried by a frame resting within sockets in the upper and lower collars 8, 15. The umbrella straps 23, Fig. 6, when not in use are passed through loops 24 and buckled. The sides of the bag are embossed, embroidered or otherwise ornamented and coloured.
