Abstract
480,309. Wallets holding toilet requisites. PUDDEFOOT, BOWERS, & SIMONETT, Ltd., and PUDDEFOOT, H. V. Sept. 30, 1937, No. 26515. [Classes 18 and 133] A wallet to hold toilet requisites has a hairbrush 1 removably mounted thereon. The brush is held by a transverse strap 5 which is stitched to both sides 13 of the body of the wallet, forms the hinge connection between the body and lid, and is then widened and continued to constitute the outer surface 6 of the lid. A layer of wadding is incorporated between the surface 6 and an inner leather sheet 7. A longitudinal strap 14 with a press-button connection with the strap 5 also assists in holding the brush to the wallet. The body of the latter comprises a rigid base 11 lined on the outside by leather 12 and inside by paper, leather, or fabric (not shown). A sliding-clasp fastener 9 secures the lid when closed down. The toilet articles are retained in the wallet by loops or straps such as 25, which may be provided with a press-button fastener.
