376,671. Vehicle wheels. MICHELIN ET CIE, Clermont-Ferrand, Puy-de-Dome, France. Feb. 8, 1932, No. 3756. Convention date, March 23, 1931. [Classes 144 (i) and 144 (ii).] A pneumatic or other resilient tyre B for use on railway vehicles is fitted so as to have its side-wall in permanent engagement with the rim-flange 2, the outer edge of which forms the rail guideflange 4. Either the tyre-wall, or the flange 2, may be faced with a strip 3 of reinforced rubber' or like wear-resisting material. In the modification shown in Fig. 5, the rim is of stepped formation to receive a tyre having beads 6, 7 of different diameters.
