Abstract

376,343. Vacuum cleaners. MULLER, E., 109, Alt Moabit, Berlin. April 9, 1931, No. 10506. [Class 8 (i).] An adapter 1 carrying a rotatable cleaning cylinder 5 is secured to the detachable mouthpieces 4 of vacuum cleaners by resilient clips 2 and packing. Wheels are mounted on the shaft of the cylinder 5 to rotate it by contact with the floor. The shaft 5 may carry bristles, bars of rubber, wire, felt, &c. .The bristles may be in the form of two spirals of opposite hand extending from the middle to the two ends of the shaft. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 145,662 and 165,232, [both in Class 8 (i), Air and gases, Compressing &c.].
