[Class 19.] A brush for cleaning the flat, highly - polished surfaces of motor-cars comprises, in combination, a block b having a threaded socket for a detachable handle d, a casing c for holding the hairs a, and a tightly fitting cover f of rubber or other elastic material enclosing the block and casing and extending downwards to support the hairs. A bead g is provided as an additional protection against the casing coming in contact with the surfaces being brushed.
