374,295. Casting-machines. PAUGH, W H. M., 101, Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, Ohio, U.S.A. June 25, 1931, No. 18393. [Class 83 (i).] Moulds.-In order to regulate the dissipation of h e a t through a centrifugal mould it comprises a rotor 10 in which can be fitted one of a number of metal shells 20, the thickness of which is proportioned in accordance with the thickness, temperature, and nature of the metal cast. The shells 20 are centred within the rotor 10 by ribs 21 and may be lined with sand or other refractory material in which case perforations 32, Fig. 5, are provided.
