[Class 83 (i).] Electricity, heating by.-An ingot mould 1 has an induction coil 3 arranged around its upper portion and a water jacket 2 around its lower portion to prevent piping. The water jacket may extend over the coil or this may be separated from the mould wall by a heat insulator 4.
