372,134. Propellers. KNOTT, R. H. JARRETT-, 37, Dalmeny Road, Tufnell Park, London. June 18, 1931, No. 17707. Addition to 332,089, [Class 114, Ships &c., Propelling &c.]. [Class 114.] To increase the effect of the propeller grooves 7 formed on the exterior of the conical boss 4 f om the base of which the blades 3 radiate, interior threads, grooves or conduits 11 of any suitable shape are provided in the interior of the boss, the streams of air entering at 10 being directed at the rear on to any suitable part of the propeller blades.
