371,487. Furniture frames; back adjustments. NEWSUM, SONS, & CO., Ltd., H., Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, and ALESBURY, D. L., Spencer House, Spencer Avenue, Coventry. Jan. 31, 1931, No. 3117. [Class 52 (ii).] Armchairs, s e t - tees, and the like of the kind wherein the seat and back support are mounted between and carried by a pair of side frames, have the arm rest and legs at each side of the seat made from one piece of wood bent to form three sides of a quadrilateral, of which two constitute the legs a<1> and the third the arm rest a<2>. Transverse members b connect the side frames a, which are strengthened by stays c and bent wood or other members e. The back h may be adjustable and supported by a rail g engaging notches f. Specification 359,091 is referred to.
