Abstract
To produce a cement plaster drying with a glazed surface, the cement is mixed with an aqueous suspension prepared by slaking quicklime with soap solution and mixing the dry material so obtained with a solution obtained by mixing calcium chloride, hydrochloric acid, aluminium, and water, or by mixing calcium chloride and an aqueous solution of aluminium chloride. In an example, quicklime is slaked with 50 per cent of a 10 per cent soap solution and the dry material is mixed with four times its volume of a solution obtained by mixing 45 parts of calcium chloride, 7,5 parts of hydrochloric acid, 46,75 parts of water and ,75 parts of aluminium. The mixture may be thinned with water up to 10 times its volume, and is used, thinned or unthinned, for gauging the cement, which may previously have been mixed with colours, e.g. the dry mixture may be 60 per cent colour and 40 per cent cement.ALSO:To produce a cement plaster or mortar drying with a glazed surface, the cement is mixed with an aqueous suspension prepared by slaking quick-lime with soap solution and mixing the dry material so obtained with a solution obtained by mixing calcium chloride, hydrochloric acid, aluminium, and water, or by mixing calcium chloride and an aqueous solution of aluminium chloride.
