[Class 130.] Collecting-mechanism, particularly for tipped cigarettes delivered by the machine of the continuous-rod type, comprises a rotating drum with radial pockets 28 which are alternately of the half and the full width of the periphery. The cigarettes C from the cut-off mechanism are axially separated by acceleration between belts 22, 11 and are swept transversely by the drum pockets into rows on a belt 43. The lower side of the belt 22 runs in a semi-tubular channel.
