Abstract

370,521. Boxes for stockings &c. GLOVER & CO., Ltd., J. G., Canal Street, South Wigston, and GLOVER, J. G., Linden House, Station Road, Countesthorpe, both in Leicestershire. Jan. 19, 1931, No. 1708. [Class 18.] A cardboard &c. box for wearing apparel such as stockings, socks and gloves, of the kind having a transparent panel in the top have this panel formed by cutting away the centre of the lid 2 to leave a comparatively narrow marginal frame 4 beneath which a sheet 5 of cellophane, celluloid or other transparent flexible material of larger area than the opening is secured by adhesive strips 6 extending over the edge of the sheet and over the adjacent part of the lid in such a way as to leave the sheet unattached at the edge of the opening. Parallel lateral partitions and two convergent longitudinal side partitions may be provided within the container. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1450/01, [Class 3, Advertising &c.].
