A rectangular box for fruit or vegetable articles comprises a base 1 and two sides 2, 3 folded up from a one-piece boxboard blank, and a rectangular wire frame 12 extending along the sides and from the top of one end of one side to the top of one end of the other side so as to support a sheet of transparent material extending round the box to form the top and the remaining two sides. The transparent material is secured to the base and has its edges folded on to the sides 2, 3 to which it is also secured. A flap 8 is cut in the base of the box to enable it to be filled after which it may be secured closed by an adhesive strip. The box may be protected by a film over-wrap.
