430,996. Paper &c. cartons or wallets. GOODE, W. H., Allen House, Newarke Street, Leicester. Jan. 6, 1934, No. 544. [Classes 18 and 94 (ii)] A carton or wallet of stout paper, cardboard, millboard, strawboard or like sheet material, for ladies' hosiery, handkerchiefs, &c. comprises a polygonal central panel 10 and flaps 12, 13, 16, 18 arranged to fold over the contents and be secured by a releasable press-button 14, 19, the stud portion of which projects through holes 17, 19. The blank may be scored to provide short side walls 11 and adhesive may be applied over the area 20. In one modification, the stud is on flap 16 and the hole 17 on flap 12. In another modification, two opposite flaps carrying the press-buttom members and two other overlapping opposite flaps have openings cut in one edge to fit round the stud. The central panel may be provided with a window of transparent material ; it may also be utilized for addressing purposes.
