370,223. Vehicle wheels. RENAULT, L., 8, Avenue Emile Zola, Billancourt,. Seine, France. May 8, 1931, No. 13728. Convention date, June 21, 1930. [Class 144 (i).] A vehicle wheel 1 of the single disc type attached to a permanent hub 4 by nuts 5 and bolts 3, is provided with a strengthening flange 7 having an annular disc portion-which over substantially its entire face lies against the portion of the wheel having the bolt holes. In addition to being attached to the wheel by the bolts 3, the flange may also be secured by rivets 9 and a number of welded points between the bolt holes. A cap 8 is detachably secured to the flange.
