[Class 29.] Refrigerating apparatus particularly applicable for cooling bottles of potable liquid &c. comprises a vessel containing a cylinder 3 of activated carbon impregnated with liquid and over and/or through which a current of air is forced by a fan 5. The liquid may be water, alcohol, or other volatile liquid, means being provided for recouping the volatile liquid. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also means for moistening air, e.g. for performing buildings, consisting of plates, balls, rods, &c. of activated carbon impregnated with liquid and over which the air flows. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
