[Class 38 (v).] In throw-over switches for controlling a plurality of circuits, in which a number of independently-operable switch levers h are mounted side by side on a common axis f, each switch lever is provided with a T-shaped contact member, with three contact blades i, k, l, adapted to engage corresponding spring contacts d<1>, d<2>, d<3>. The contact blades l are wide enough to remain permanently in contact with the contact springs d<3>, and are connected to the contact springs d<1> or d<2>, through the blades i or k, in accordance with the position of the switch levers. A removable bar n may be provided for coupling two or more of the switch levers together, the bar being secured to the rear surfaces of the barrels g carrying the switch levers and contact blades A writing tablet m, on which the positions of the levers may be marked, is disposed on the cover c.
