Abstract
368,044. Displaying. CAMPBELL, P. C., 6, Park Hill Court, Beeches Road, London. Feb. 20, 1931, No. 5415. [Class 3 (i).] Articles for display are mounted in carriers a suspended from endless chains b which run round guide rollers c, the chains b being intermittently moved to bring each carrier in turn behind a window k<1>. The carriers have each a platform d on which the article rests, the platform being reciprocated, or being rotated when in display position by a pinion f engaging teeth e beneath the platform. The pinion f is retracted from the carrier before the latter moves away by a solenoid h<1> against the pressure of a spring h. The platform d is detachable to allow the articles to be displayed on a glass screen mounted beneath each support. A curtain l carried on a bhain m passing over rollers n is raised and lowered in synchronism with the movements of the chains b. A kinematograph o displays an endless film x on a screen alongside the window k<1>.
