[Classes 75 (ii) and 75 (iv).] Lantern screens and fronts.-In an antidazzle device for vehicle lamps a plurality of glass strips 3 are secured to the rear face of the front glass 1 by engaging in slots formed in raised portions of the front glass or between glass or like distance-pieces united to the front glass. In the form shown the strips are formed with inclined upper and lower edges 8 and are engaged in slots in an arcuate member 9. The strips are arranged vertically at equal distances apart and inclined at about 45‹ towards the near side of the road with their rear edges overhanging their front edges, the latter being bevelled to lie flush against the front glass. The strips need not extend across the lateral parts 10 or across a central lens or other specially provided portion of the front glass. The strips may be frosted and/or coloured, whilst the arcuate members, or the area of the front or rear face of the front glass covered by the arcuate members, may be frosted.
