Abstract

305,430. Beckett, C. F. June 14, 1928. Lantern screens for preventing dazzle comprise a disc of metal, celluloid or other material adapted to fit immediately behind the front glass and having straight horizontal openings shaded above by integral inclined shields B extending downwardly from the upper edges of the apertures. Inclined openings C, also shaded, are provided at the sides of the disc, which is held in place by projections A. The screen may be moulded or cut and may be coloured.
