Abstract

367,580. Inhalers. LINTON, R. H., 4, Racquet Court, Fleet Street, London. March 7, 1931, No. 7178. [Class 81 (ii).] A medicament inhaler comprises a tubular container 1 for the medicament, preferably of glass, having screwed-on or other detachable caps 3, 4. The cap 3 has a resilient packing 3a which closes the reduced end 2 of the container serving as the nose piece. The cap 4 carries packing 5 through which passes a slidable perforated tube 6 adapted when drawn out to permit inhalation. The tube 6 may be replaced by a spring-pressed mushroom valve opened by pressing an external knob, or by a rotatable valve operated by an external thumbpiece.
