Abstract

An antirust paint is made by mixing the smoke-dust obtained as a by product in the roasting of sulphur ores, without further treatment--with linseed oil varnish or other binding medium, with or without other substances, such as lithopone, red lead, ultramarine. The smoke-dust may be that obtained from sulphur ores containing lead and arsenic.
