Abstract

314,673. Lang, M. H. June 29, 1928. Paints.-An anticorrosive composition or paint comprises a paste consisting of desulphated and aerated pulverized clinker or slag, a pigment or colour such as lithopone or earth colour, and linseed oil together with a liquid binder composed of rubber dissolved in a solvent and copal varnish, with or without nitrocellulose varnish, boiled linseed oil and driers. The clinker or slag contains calcined ironstone, clay and limestone, and is desulphated and oxidized by air.
