Abstract
364,398. Endless conveyers. CARR & CO., Ltd., 54, Church Street, and TATE, J. M., 14, Silloth Street, both in Carlisle. Feb. 17, 1931, No. 5050. [Class 78 (i).] An apparatus for removing biscuits &c. from the trays on which they have been baked comprises a conveyer 2, which moves the trays from the oven to a discharge point, where they are allowed to fall edgewise against a stop 21. This momentarily checks the fall and detaches the biscuits, which slide down a shoot 16 to the packing conveyer 20, while the trays fall right side up on to a transverse conveyer 22, and are passed to a return conveyer 23. The fall of the trays is controlled by guides 14, 15. The stop 21 may be made of resilient material such as rubber, and a number of conveyors 2 may operate in connection with common conveyers 20, 22.
