[Class 78 (i)] [See also Group VI] Biscuits are stacked on edge and in longitudinal rows A<2> on a feed conveyer 11 which overlaps and is driven at a slower speed than the main conveyer 10 so that the biscuits automatically fall from the feed conveyer on to the main conveyer and lie flat thereon for further treatment, for example coating with chocolate. The biscuits are transported to the feed conveyer by means of the receptacles described in Specification 441,001.
