363,765. Ships' hulls. DAVIES' W. F. W., 8, Aston Road, Dudley, Worcestershire. Oct. 28, 1930, No. 32409. [Class 113 (ii).] A ship's hull construction comprises two hulls 1, 2 arranged side by side and connected by girders 21 which are connected to the inwardly-sloping decks 9 by inside and outside brackets 23, 24. The hulls have the inner sides straight from the bows 13, 14 to the neighbourhood of the sterns 15, 16. Transverse members 34 and longitudinals 33, 35 frame the hulls which, in a modification, may be sectional with manholes in each section to facilitate the attachment of the junction bars. The brackets 23, 24 are made from a blank and comprise a U- shaped part which receives the girder and is supported by brackets formed by turning up another part of the blank.
