[Class 9 (i).] In clockwork fuzes driven by centrifugal sectors a, a pivoted at b, b, intermediate step-up gears c, c are interposed between the sectors and the central spindle e of the time disc, so that the travel of the centrifugal sectors is reduced and therefore also the variations of centrifugal force thereon, and this results in a more even drive.
