361,811. Endless belt conveyers. THOMPSON (WOLVERHAMPTON), Ltd., J., Ettingshall Engineering Works, PARTRIDGE, H. E., 48, Castlecroft Road, Finchfield, both in Wolverhampton, and COLLINGE, J., 2, High Bank, Bolton Road, Pendlebury, Lancashire. May 8, 1931, No. 13619. Addition to 346,909. [Class 78 (i).] The conveyer of the parent Specification is modified by arranging for the pressure fluid which acts on the flexible seating strips also to act on the underside of the belt in a manner to reduce friction between it and its supports. The belt 4 rests on blocks 2 which are spaced apart and away from the bottom of the trough 1. The edges 5 of the belt are sealed by flexible strips 6 which are maintained in the shape shown by continuous members 9 and a series of resilient brackets 12. Pressure fluid is supplied at 13.
