[Class 69 (ii).] The number of blades in the driving member of a hydraulic coupling of the Fottinger type e differs from that in the driven member, being for example, two more. Longer blades 32 .. 35 may be employed with shorter intervening blades 8 .. 11, an even number of long blades may be provided, and the angle between them is preferably less than 22¢‹. The members 4 .. 7, 12 .. 15, 8 .. 11, 32 .. 35, are made of wrought, rolled, or pressed material, and secured together by welding, riveting, screwing, or other means.
