360,423. Inductances ; high frequency transformers. MAERLENDER, H. G. and MAERLENDER, H. A., 1917, East 75th Street, Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.A. June 2, 1930, No. 17077. Convention date, May 31, 1929. [Class 37.] Coupling coils for radio apparatus comprise a number of similar primary windings disposed in a circular arrangement and connected in parallel, in association with secondary windings similarly located and connected, the mutual stray fields of the windings being equalized. In one arrangement, Fig. 2, the units L are mounted on an annular disc 9 carried by brackets 12, 13 on a base 11. The disc 9 has a detachable wedge-piece to permit threading of the units. The separate windings are connected to annularly disposed conductors 3 .. 6 also carried by the brackets 12, 13. In a modification, Fig. 8, the coupling comprises three units L\ L2, L<3> having their primary and secondary windings respectively connected in parallel.
