[Class 78 (i).] Sides of beef &c. are carried through a chilling- room upon conveyers each comprising slats 52, Fig. 9, secured to the links of chains 53 and carrying rollers 55 which run on tracks 56 carried by a frame upon which are mounted toothed rollers for supporting and driving the conveyer. The flanks of the sides of beef are supported by bowed strips 12 secured to the slats 52.
