[Class 52 (ii).] In a table of the kind comprising a single leg a and a base at each end, the leg is secured to the end rail b carrying the table top by bolts b<1>. The scrolls c<1>, and also the stay c connecting the legs a, are dovetailed into their lower ends as shown, and the joints between the parts c, a are stiffened by metal straps or dogs or angle members.
