Abstract
354,864. Tables &c. GREAVES, F. A. and THOMAS, A. J., Amherst Works, Northwold Road, Clapton, London. May 21, 1930, No. 15607. [Class 52 (iii).] Relates to tables, flaps, and like parts attached to a wall, an article of furniture, or other vertical structure by means of hinges and a strut pivoted to the wall &c. and to the underside of the flap. The table as shown in the Figure consists of a top 1 of wood, metal, &c., with a rim 2 on its underside. It is supported by a strut consisting of two splayed bars 7, 8 pivoted to two parallel bars 4, 5, the connection preferably consisting of a block 10 attached to the upper ends of the bars 4, 5. A projection 11 on one side of it serves as a stop, and a spring clip 12 with a finger-piece 13 serves for securing the bars in alignment, and for releasing them.
