Abstract

358,021. Pulverulent fuel burners. ROOSEN, R., 31, Kaiserplatz, Cassel, Germany. March 26, 1930, No. 9671. Convention date, Nov. 27, 1929. Addition to 339,901, [Class 75 (i), Burners &c.]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Drawings to Specification. [Class 75 (i).] The burner of the parent Specification is used for burning coal dust, a smaller quantity of carrier air being used than when burning brown coal and secondary air being added subsequently. Fuel is fed to two concentric burner conduits by a screw conveyer driven through change-speed gearing as in the parent Specification, each conduit being stated to serve for the operation of a " main burner." The burner outlets are preferably of the rose or sprinkler type.
