[Class 76.] A machine for fleshing skins comprises a rotary cylinder B fitted with alternate helical blades bl and bands of wire bristles b<2> oppositely directed from the centre of the cylinder. The cylinder is driven from a pulley C and co-operating there - with is a travelling belt or a roller G mounted on brackets E carried by a hinged board D. A guard K is mounted adjacent to the cylinder.
