357,763. Scavengers' vehicles. HUNT, A., 66, Mason Street, Horwich, Bolton, and DYSON & CO., Ltd., R. A., 76, Grafton Street, Liverpool. Sept. 19, 1930, No. 27981. [Class 108 (i).] A scavengers' vehicle comprises an enclosed container 1 adapted to be tipped about a pivot 5 on the chassis 2 by any suitable means such as 6 and a fixed enclosed chamber 8 housing a bucket conveyer 13 adapted to be driven, when the trailer is travelling, by means of gearing 15, 16 from the road wheels 3 to convey the refuse discharged into the hopper 9 of the chamber 8 to the container 1. A lid 11 is provided for the hopper 9. The vehicle may, if desired, be a horse-driven or motor vehicle.
