Abstract

356,570. Golf-club caddy bags. MARTIN, P. A., New Works, Granville Street, Birmingham. Nov. 18, 1930, No. 34650 [Class 132 (ii).] A golf-club caddy bag has a hood 1 of flexible leather having a divided portion closed by inter locking fastener elements 7 fastened by the clasp 8 and an undivided portion 6 adapted when the hood is folded down to lie between the bag and an inturned portion 9 of the C-shaped handle 4. The handle 4 comprises a bar or tube 14 of metal or wood covered with felt 16 and leather 17 and having eyed ends 15 engaged by loops 11 which turn within the eyed studs 12 carried by a reinforcing strip 13 in the wall 3 of the body of the bag as described in Specification 349,310. The shoulder sling 5 is attached by means of the swivel. ling snap hook 21 to one or other of the rings 19, 20 according to whether the hood is up or down, the rings 19, 20 being carried by a loop 18 encircling the metal mouth frame 2, the ring 19 being outside and the ring 20 inside the hood when it is raised.
