Abstract

356,512. Fireguards. CHOAT, M., 4, Westbury Road, New Malden, Surrey. Sept. 30, 1930, No. 29228. [Class 126.] A wire gauze, perforated metal, or like screen A is provided with supporting brackets, clips, or the like C adapted to engage detachably the ashpit front cover B. The guard is supported with its lower edge immediately adjacent the top of the cover to prevent the passage of cuiders &c. between them. In the form shown the supporting brackets C hook over the ashpit cover B and are formed with rearward extensions E, which engage the underside of the grate F and prevent forward tipping of the guard.
