Abstract
355,675. Transformers. KOCH & STERZEL AKT.-GES., 40, Zwickauerstrasse, Dresden. Germany. March 25, 1930, No. 9489. Convention date, March 27, 1929. [Class 38 (ii).] In high-tension voltagemeasuring transformers comprising a pair of iron cores 13, 22 carrying series connected primary windings 11, 14, 21, 25, compensating and overcoupling windings 15, 16, 23, 24 and 17, 18, and a secondary winding 26 for connection to an instrument 27, the windings are arranged in concentric layers with slit metal cylinders 31 .. 39 interposed therebetween and connected to the windings so as to produce capacity effects as indicated at 40 .. 47 in Fig. 2. The entry layer of the primary 33 connected to the high-tension conductor 12 is placed over the cylinder 34 and is made of increased cross section. The two cores carrying the windings are mounted in a single insulating casing 50, Fig. 5.
