Convention date, Dec. 27, 1929. [Class 78 (i).] In a conveyer for transporting arched metal sheets through an annealing furnace of the type having a series of transverse arms 13 on which the edges of the arched sheets rest and upwardly directed arms 20 extending towards the curved portion of the sheet to prevent undue sagging during the annealing process, the transverse arms are provided with bearing surfaces 15 which ride on rails provided on each side of the conveyer chain 11. Each arm 13 has a depending portion 16 having a pair of parallel arms 17, the lower faces of which are enlarged at 18 to receive brackets 19 secured to the links of the conveyer chain.
