[Classes 18 and 133.] A box 2 fitted to hold skeins 7 of wool &c. and reels 6 of cotton &c. is secured to the inside of the lid of a suit case, travelling bag, &c. The skeins are held on arms 8 which are pivoted to the box and can telescope into each other. A hinged lid to the box 2 has straps &c. 3 on one side to hold sewing requisites and pockets on the other side for miscellaneous articles; and there is a further series of pockets 5 around the case walls. Reels of cotton &c. may be held in the body'of the case on a rod &c. running longitudinally thereof, the ends of the rod being connected to links pivoted to the sides of the case near the bottom of the latter, and the ends of the cotton may be drawn through openings cut through to the side of a member provided on the reel carrier above the reels. One or more cutters may also be provided on the above member. The reels may be held raised at the level of the top of the suit case by stops on a metal strip or spring on both sides of the case, and, when the reels are lowered, they may be covered by a removable cover. An umbrella may be carried on the outside of the case in pockets or straps 10. According to the Provisional Specification, skeins and reels are accommodated in the body part of a workbox, and other sewing requisites in pockets, flaps, &c., on the inside of the cover, and there is a partition between the two sets of articles.
