[Class 120 (i).] A mill for crushing the leaves of plants such as the agave consists of a large roller c with several smaller rollers g arranged around its periphery, the spacing of the smaller rollers from the larger decreasing from the feed point p to the delivery point. The roller c is powerdriven by gearing d, h, and in turn drives the smaller rollers k through gears i, m. The surface of the large roller is preferably smooth so that material may be removed from it by a scraper s, while the surface of the smaller rollers may be corrugated. The mill may be mounted on a mobile chassis, for instance of the caterpillar type.
