[Class 69 (ii).] A hydraulic power transmission device comprises radial cylinders 3 carried by the driving shaft, ports 9 in the cylinders being controlled by centrifugally actuated sleeves 10. The sleeves are preferably interconnected and connected to dashpots 18. A spring-pressed washer surrounds the driven shaft to prevent leakage.
