352,365. Coils of dynamo - electric machines. SIEMENS - SCHUCKERTWERKE AKT.-GES., Siemensstadt, Berlin. Nov. 14, 1930, No. 34335. Convention date, Feb. 15. [Class 35.] Stator windings are secured in position by lapping tape continuously round the coil ends or their surrounding sleeves in the vicinity of the ends of the core. In the form shown in the Figure, two tapes 15, 16 starting a slot pitch apart are wrapped alternately over and under the conductor ends 14. The tape may be continuously wrapped round each end conductor in turn. Wire may be used instead of tape.
