An example of a non-magnetic alloy known under the trade name "Arcolloy," used for parts of the covers of electric circuit-breakers, consists of iron with under 0,12 per cent of carbon, under 0,5 per cent of manganese, under 0,025 per cent of phosphorus, under 0,025 per cent of sulphur, under 0,5 per cent of silicon, and 12-16 per cent of chromium.
